5 Full Time Seasonal Job available 09/01/2025- 10/28/2025

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in the job order and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in Box 3 & 4, Page 1. Primary job duties include performing any combination of tasks related to planting, cultivating, harvesting and processing of fruits and vegetables, greenhouse crops and flowers including, but not limited to driving, operating and maintenance of farm machines, preparing soil, transplanting, pruning, weeding, spraying, seeding, mowing, harvesting, grading, packing and assist with cider making. Use hand tools such as shovel, pruning saw, power pole, hoe and ladder. One month experience required in duties listed. The employer will provide 1 day of training and allow 2 days of work for the worker to satisfactorily perform the duties described in the job description. Workers will operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid drivers license, no worker will be rejected for not having a driver's license. During harvest, productivity must be at least 8.5 1-1/8 bushel boxes per 7 hour worked with no more than 5% bruising for fresh market. Workers should report to work with their own suitable work clothing. Workers must be willing to work in extreme weather temperatures and conditions, (including temperatures as low as 25 degrees with snow up to one foot deep and as high as 90 degrees with damp mornings). Workers must be able to pick apples and handle and climb a 16 foot ladder. Work requires long periods of standing, bending and kneeling, as well as climbing ladders for long periods of time. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and be available to work Monday through Sunday with one day off a week. Employer will furnish to workers without cost all tools and equipment required to perform duties assigned. Workers may require to work 8 hours shift between the hours of 7:00am-7:00pm from Monday through Saturday. Worker will be given 30 minutes for lunch. Beginning and ending times as well as days will vary depending on the conditions in the orchard. Workers must be able to take directions in simple English.
