We are looking for abilingual Customer Service Associateto join our auction team. As a Front Desk Associate you will primarily be providing in-person customer service to existing auction customers.

We need a highly motivated, self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment and thrives on providing BEST IN CLASS customer service. Outstanding reading, writing and communication skills are a must!Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Job Type:Part-Time (on-site)

Schedule:Monday through Saturday as needed. 5 to 25 hours a week depending on weekly needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet every customer with a smile and enthusiasm as they arrive for pickup.

Open the door for customers and assist in pushing out carts if necessary.

Check customers in/sign them in and pull invoices for pickers.

Accept payments for unpaid invoices and process refunds/returns as necessary.

Keep the lobby tidy by picking up trash, using the dust mop, and dusting as necessary.

Inform customers about upcoming auctions and offer reminders about important information.

Assist in light-duty tasks throughout the warehouse during non-pickup hours.

Paperwork and minor administrative duties during down-time.

Work on projects as directed by management and assist co-workers with special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Polite demeanor and ability to cordially respond customer concerns in person and via text, phone and email.

Outgoing and engaging - willing to greet customers as they come in.

Thick skinned - able to listen and respond to customer complaints without taking it personally.

Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to greet customers warmly and maintain a positive attitude.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks and processing payments.

Minimum Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.

18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license.

Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for employment visa status.

Experience in an auction or e-commerce environment is preferred.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets).

Proficiency in typing (50-70 words per minute).

Computer savvy and pick up new software easily.

Physical Demands

Able to walk, lift, reach with hands and arms, and stand for up to 4 hours at a time.

Capable of using a step ladder and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: From $11.75 per hour
