Salem City Schools is seeking to hire a Transportation Secretary to provide all clerical and secretarial support for the operation of the Transportation Office.

Requirements:

Must possess a High School Diploma

Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, Google Docs, and the ability and willingness to learn the BusRight Transportation Program (or any program that is in use) to create and maintain school bus routes.

Must provide exceptional customer service with the skills to handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.

Must demonstrate and maintain confidences at all times

Must exhibit good health, high moral character, and a good attendance record

Must have valid Driver's License

Must be able to pass a Driving Record Check, Reference Check, Background Check, and Drug Test

Additional Details:

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Sick Leave, Vacation, and Paid Holidays

Salary: Based according to schedule in the OAPSE Agreement

Start Date: 2025 -- 2026 School Year
