Job Title:Sr. Technical Product Management/Supply Chain and Manufacturing IT

Job Duties:Guide and support the transformation of warehouse procurement systems at company from legacy to next generation cloud hosted technology solutions. Improve product offerings and launch product features through a deep understanding of Procurement business needs. Responsible for creating and maintaining the product roadmap, strategy, inclusive of cost, investment, and overall benefit realization that is in-line with business long-term goals and objectives. Provide strategic support to the team by creating the overall strategic vision for the product by prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities. Deliver business impact through a variety of metrics, including product adoption, expansion conversion and usage. Identify market need, interfacing with internal and external customers to define the scope. Oversee competitive research and technology assessments. Work with Product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the Product. Work with support and technical teams to identify operational and non-functional requirements. Oversee product administration, grooming, priority, translation to technical/design specifications and lifecycle management of all applications within product line. Final authority on product requirements. Responsible for analyzing business processes, fit-gap analysis, in-efficiencies, and risks to determine appropriate process and system design by working with product analysts as needed. Ensure proper test coverage. Oversee the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing. Conduct product training and contribute to end user training materials and procedures. Evaluate vendor products/solutions to determine if they meet business and technical needs.

Duties also include:

Expanding or modifying system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.

Using the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.

Conferring with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.

Assessing the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.

Defining the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.

Reading manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.

Specifying inputs accessed by the system and plan the distribution and use of the results.

Preparing cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

Recommending new equipment or software packages.

May telecommute. Reports to Plano, TX. Domestic travel 1-10 times per year to company offices based on project needs.

Requirements/Special Skills:Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field and ten (10) years of Product Management experience in leading cross-functional software projects.

1.Ten (10) years of experience in Retail and Supply Chain domain.

2.Three (3) years of experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules including Procurement, Supply Planning, Supplier Collaboration, or Inventory.

3.Three (3) years of experience working with technical teams on Azure and Oracle cloud technology solutions.

4.Four (4) years of experience with product management tools such as road mapping, mockups, wireframes, or product marketing.

5.Four (4) years of experience extracting and documenting customer needs/business requirements for use by enterprise architecture and engineering teams including network, system, and software.

6.Four (4) years of experience with developer tools, project management tools, CI/CD and DevOps processes, UI/UX tools, operational tools, or application management tools, including monitoring tools.

7.Four (4) years of experience with product management techniques including product roadmap development, feature team planning, and agile methodology.

8.Four (4) years of experience developing and nurturing a product strategy - with direct experience in strategic planning, product management practices, and organizational, operational, or technical change.

9.Four (4) years of experience with web technologies, microservices, and cloud architecture.
