Summary/Objective:

This position will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, assembly line systems, and other building systems.

Essential Functions:

Knowledge of lubrication systems, plumbing, welding, electrical,

sheet metal, hydraulic, air systems, carpentry, millwright work, blueprint reading, minor hydraulic work.

Performs diagnostic trouble shooting and makes necessary repairs.

Moves, sets, erects, adjusts, dismantles, cleans, repairs, and

replaces: welders, presses, machine tools, and conveyors, adjusts equipment for efficient operations, cleans and maintains plumbing on processing equipment.

Trouble shoots and maintains hydraulic systems, presses, welders,

banders, shears, brakes, and tubing.

Tears down and overhauls hydraulic pumps, maintains, tests, and

replaces electrical and electronic equipment such as rewiring or running new power lines, cleaning oiling, and calibrating instruments, dismantling defective controls, and installing new or rebuilt parts.

Observes all safety rules and keeps the workstation in order.

Performs other duties as assigned to support the organization.
