Niagara Falls. RUS Industries. CNC Machine Shop Maintenance Technician. $22.50 - $28/hour.

4-DAY WORK WEEK - Full-time position working four days per week.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our CNC machine shop and facility. This position is responsible for keeping CNC machines, shop equipment, and the building in good working condition. This is a great position for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting problems, and prefers a variety of work rather than doing the same job every day.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on CNC lathes, machining centers, bar feeders, and related equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems

Repair and maintain pumps, motors, coolant systems, conveyors, and other shop equipment

Perform routine lubrication, filter changes, and scheduled machine maintenance

Diagnose machine alarms and assist with getting equipment back into production

Coordinate with outside service technicians when necessary

Maintain maintenance records and help manage spare parts and supplies

Perform general building and facility maintenance, including lighting, electrical repairs, plumbing, heating and ventilation, doors, locks, overhead doors, shop air systems, and general repairs

Help identify potential equipment problems before they result in downtime

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills

Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred

CNC machine maintenance experience is a strong plus

Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and basic diagnostic equipment

Welding and fabrication skills are a plus

Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs

Dependable and willing to take ownership of equipment and facility condition
