The Payroll Administrator must be proficient in all tasks necessary to process taxes for in-house payroll accurately and timely.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Complete federal, state, and local tax reports and process payments

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Knowledge of Prevailing wage reporting

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Assist with year-end W-2 reporting

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Balance payroll tax filings to the general ledger

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}As needed assist in setting up new states and municipality jurisdictions

SKILLS:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Experience with multistate payroll tax reporting

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Good communication skills

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger set up in payroll records

Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}3-5 years of eCMS/payroll processing experience

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}A minimum of a high school diploma is required, a business degree is desired

Construction industry experience in depth knowledge of Payroll taxes

Experience within house payroll processing

Knowledge of LCPtracker and Elations software
