General Roofing Laborer / Construction Helper (Entry-Level)

Rodd Roofing is seeking motivated, dependable individuals for immediate openings as General

Roofing Laborers to support our commercial and residential roofing teams in the St. Johnsbury, VT

area. This is an entry-level, non-skilled position focused on physical labor and supporting the overall

efficiency and safety of our job sites.

Responsibilities:

Perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent lifting, carrying, and climbing, often in

various weather conditions.

Assist in the loading and unloading of all roofing materials, tools, and equipment at the job

site.

Carry materials from ground level to the roof deck, distributing them as instructed by the

foreman.

Prepare the work area, which includes setting up safety equipment, scaffolding, and

perimeter protection.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by collecting, cleaning, and removing debris and

waste from the roof and surrounding property throughout the day.

Assist skilled roofers with basic tasks as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Prior roofing experience is preferred but not required. Carpentry skills are a plus.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

A strong commitment to job site safety and adherence to all company safety protocols.

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.) repeatedly.

Location: Based out of St. Johnsbury, VT, servicing job sites throughout the region.

Compensation: \$20.00 p/ hr. / Company paid Employee Only Health Insurance / 401(k)
