Customer and Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer and Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring an excellent customer experience while supporting the sales team in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will assist customers with inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with internal departments to deliver timely and accurate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

Provide product and service information, including pricing, availability, and lead times.

Accurately enter and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices in the company system.

Support sales representatives by preparing proposals, order updates, and follow-up communications.

Track orders from entry to delivery, ensuring customers are updated throughout the process.

Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Maintain customer records and ensure account details are up to date.

Collaborate with operations, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Assist with generating sales reports, tracking metrics, and maintaining CRM data.

Contribute to a positive customer experience and promote long-term relationships.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or sales support preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.

High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.

Work Environment and Schedule

Full-time position, Monday-Friday.

Office-based role with regular interaction with customers and the sales team.

May require overtime based on business needs.
