Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, energetic Administrative Assistant / Retail Associate to join our growing coffee company. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats and helping wherever needed-from administrative work and customer service to retail sales, warehouse tasks, cleaning, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

As a small business, every team member plays an important role. This position will often be the face of the company, interacting with customers, visitors, vendors, and business partners. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a no-ego, team-first mindset who is willing to jump in and do what needs to be done.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative

Provide general administrative and clerical support

Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist customers

Maintain records, files, invoices, and other business documents

Assist with scheduling, ordering, data entry, and other office tasks

Support management with day-to-day administrative needs

Help keep the office and customer-facing areas organized

Retail & Customer Service

Serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable representative of the company

Greet customers and assist with purchases and product questions

Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately

Promote coffee products, equipment, and other retail items

Support sales initiatives and maintain an inviting retail environment

Build positive relationships with customers and provide excellent service

Warehouse & Operations

Receive, organize, and put away inventory

Pull and prepare products and orders

Assist with shipping, packaging, and inventory management

Keep warehouse, retail, and work areas clean and organized

Assist with coffee equipment cleaning and basic upkeep as needed

Help with other operational tasks during slower retail periods

What We're Looking For

Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods

Willingness to work in an office, retail, warehouse, and production environment

Dependable, flexible, and willing to take initiative

Ability to prioritize tasks and stay productive during downtime

Comfortable learning new systems, products, and processes

Professional, friendly, and approachable

No-ego attitude with a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to be part of a team

Previous administrative, retail, customer service, or warehouse experience preferred

The Right Fit

The right person for this position understands that in a small business, everyone does a little bit of everything. You may spend part of the morning answering emails, help a customer in the retail area, receive inventory, organize the warehouse, clean equipment, and then jump back into administrative work.

Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
