Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Logistics & Warehousing to lead

and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations within the refractory industry. This

role will oversee all aspects of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and

logistics planning to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of materials and

finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

. Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals and

customer requirements.

. Oversee warehousing operations including receiving, storage, inventory control,

and dispatch.

. Manage transportation networks and third-party logistics providers to ensure

timely and cost-effective delivery.

. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency,

reduce costs, and improve service levels.

. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across

all logistics and warehousing activities.

. Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand

and align logistics planning.

. Implement and maintain ERP and WMS systems to support data-driven decision making.

. Monitor KPIs and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, and

drive accountability.

. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics and warehousing team.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business

Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).

. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in logistics and warehousing, preferably in the

refractory or heavy manufacturing industry.

. Proven leadership experience in managing complex supply chain operations.

. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and

transportation management.

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.

Preferred Skills:

. Experience with international logistics and customs compliance.

. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

. Understanding of refractory materials and their handling requirements.
