Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will lead the company's accounting and financial management, reporting, and compliance functions, ensuring accurate financial operations in a fast-paced, crypto-driven environment. This role requires a deep understanding of both traditional accounting and the nuances of digital assets.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

? Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations, including those involving cryptocurrency transactions.

? Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

? Track and record digital asset activity, including mining rewards, wallet transfers, conversions, and fair market valuations.

? Reconcile fiat and crypto accounts, including wallets, exchanges, and custodial services, using crypto accounting platforms and traditional tools.

? Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial data, variance analysis, and historical trends.

? Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.

? Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation.

? Maintain fixed asset schedules related to mining equipment and infrastructure, including depreciation tracking and capex analysis.

? Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting systems and crypto asset tracking tools.

? Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and IT teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.

Requirements:*

Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related position.

Requires at least three years of experience in the following skills:

GAAP accounting standards and IFRS standard (international standards).

ERP/accounting software, Excel, and crypto-specific platforms such as CoinTracking and Bitwave.

Working with diverse teams across different regions, including Asia, Canada, and Europe.

Digital assets, crypto accounting, blockchain transactions, and mining economics.

Tax implications related to crypto mining in terms of depreciation and capital gains.

Internal auditing.

Telecommuting from anywhere within the U.S. is permissible.
