What You'll Do

As a Direct Care Worker, you'll support residents with activities of daily living while promoting their comfort, independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene

Providing companionship and emotional support

Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using safe techniques

Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping and laundry

Assisting with medication administration, as permitted by training and state regulations

Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in resident condition

Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment

Following all licensing regulations, company policies, and resident rights

Communicating effectively with coworkers, families, and healthcare professionals as appropriate

Experienced in dementia care, hospice, or palliative care (preferred but not required)
