Starting Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Operate agency vehicles to transport individuals in the community (churches, nursing homes, clinics, malls, restaurants, casinos etc.) using door-to-door assistance.

Provide safe boarding and disembarking support.

Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, mileage logs, fueling, and ensure cleanliness of assigned vehicles (interior/exterior).

Follow GPS routes and maintain communication with dispatch/staff and customers.

Participate in ongoing, employer provided, driver training.

Maintain customer confidentiality in all interactions and documentation.

Valid NY State Driver's License with 2 years clean driving record required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Skills & Abilities:

Use of cell phone/tablet, read and write in English, ability to follow GPS instructions.

Good communication and customer service.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
