Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various medical settings. Responsibilities

On Call Register Nurse for a kids camp.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments, including but not limited to ophthalmology, geriatrics, and primary care.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients health status and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medical protocols.

Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to acute pain management needs.

Perform diagnostic procedures such as spinal taps and assist with CT scans when necessary.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using appropriate medical terminology.

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Experience in hospital medicine or senior care is preferred.

Proficiency in managing acute pain and familiarity with ophthalmology practices is a plus.

Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to various specialties.

Experience working with children is beneficial but not required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient care demands.
