An applicant must possess the ability to multi-task in a busy environment, have a strong EMR experience, must share a passion for patient and customer centered care, and be a flexible team player.

Primary duties include:

Front desk duties: answering phones, patient registration and scheduling, insurance verification, obtaining prior authorization, other administrative duties, as assigned by the management.

Clinical duties: assisting physicians with exams, procedures, supply control. You will work closely with physicians and other office staff to coordinate patient care.

Requirements:

High school degree or GED

Minimum 1 year of related experience

Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant or equivalent

CPR certification

Knowledge of the health care, managed care and insurance industries

Knowledge of medical terminology

Comprehensive knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Own reliable transportation as travel might be required.
