Salary Range:

(3-5 years) Experienced: $40,000 - $55,000 annually

Hours:

Full-time; standard business hours with extended hours during tax season.

Job Description:

Prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Review financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws. Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities. Maintain confidentiality of all client information. Provide clear explanations of tax results to clients.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) required.

Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience preferred.

Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of federal and Texas tax laws.

Skills Required:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.
