We are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedAdministrative Assistantto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing ticket accounting, accounts payable, and payroll-related tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to reconcile discrepancies effectively.

Responsibilities

Ticket Accounting

Reconcile trucking and material tickets submitted daily through Command Alkon.

Invoice payments from trucking and material companies.

Contact vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Set up new vendors and pricing in Command Alkon to ensure proper vendor management.

Accounts Payable (AP)

Enter daily invoices into QuickBooks from various vendors.

Payroll and Employee Onboarding

Reconcile employee hours for payroll processing.

Set up new employees in QuickBooks and process all necessary payroll-related documents.

Ensure new hires are properly enrolled in company benefits, including insurance.

Communicate with insurance benefit brokers for employee enrollment and updates.

Qualifications

Proven experience in administrative, accounting, or payroll-related roles.

Proficiency in QuickBooks.

Proficiency in Command Alkon (or willingness to learn).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

Excellent communication skills for vendor and employee interactions.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in trucking, construction, or concrete is a plus.
