CUSTOMER SERVICE is this stores number one (1) priority. All other job functions come second to Customer Service. I repeat: All other job functions come second to Customer Service. Responsibilities for the Warehouse/Receiving Associate include, but are not limited to, the following: Customer service (loading customers) is your primary job and responsibility. If you receive or are unloading a delivery truck, the truck driver must wait while the customer is loaded. All customer requests should be handled while the truck driver waits for us. Please return emptied pallets to appropriate vendors before they leave after delivery. Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Arrive on time and able to open warehouse by 7:30 am Monday - Friday, and 8:00 am Saturdays. An ACCURATE feed inventory in warehouse, boxcars, trailers, etc. is to be performed first thing every Monday and Wednesday morning and turned into the office. This inventory is a manual count and will be recorded on the feed inventory count sheet. This information is to verify feed inventory with POS, and once verified by back office, the information is passed on to assist in our next feed order. Warehouse office and restroom must be kept clean. If you need cleaning supplies or toiletries, please get with office personnel. Warehouse, propane station, and inside/outside fences must be clean and presentable. This includes loading area and truck unloading dock. A gas-powered blower and an electric blower are available to keep floors dust and feed free. Clean up after finding rips in bags and notify office personnel of any torn or ripped bags of feed or other merchandise that is damaged. After it rains, the truck unloading dock will need to have the water pumped out with submersible water pump. *Pipe yard is responsibility of warehouse associate. When available, warehouse personnel should respond to requests to load pipe, conduit, feeders, blocks, pads, gates, etc. Warehouse personnel are also responsible for unloading feeder deliveries and setting them up. If you are busy providing amazing customer service, ask for assistance.

Monitor oil and coolant levels, tire pressures, and any greasing maintenance on forklifts. Any maintenance items that you are unable to fix, should be brought to the managers attention for scheduling of repairs. (I.E.: Tire /Oil / Coolant Leaks, ETC.) Tools are provided to perform simple maintenance on forklift and building structure. Monitor incoming package delivery. Deliver store packages to office, pick up incoming U.S.P.S. packages for customers from office and transport to warehouse for pickup in warehouse office. Empty all trash bins, cardboard bins, and other debris containers located in the warehouse along with the two trash bins located behind the store receiving area. Re-stock the cut pieces of PVC pipe rack located on isle 15 inside the store. This pipe rack is for sizes - 4 cut 20-foot joints only, and we restock this for small pipe requests. This should be checked periodically throughout each week to ensure all sizes are available for store associates. Pick up trash around the fences of both the warehouse, propane, and pipe yard. Keep weed growth under control by spraying weeds and weed eating around loading areas and fencing. Complete all assigned computer training in a timely manner Unlock and lock feed warehouse, propane station, pipe yard, and connex buildings daily. Other duties as assigned.
