Job Description:

R.D. Jones Excavating, a trusted leader in excavation and site development services in Lima, OH, is seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and competitive pay. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, a solid work ethic, and experience operating dump trucks, semi-truck, or box truck in a construction or excavation setting.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday--Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed

Pay: $30/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Operate dump trucks to haul and deliver materials such as dirt, gravel, stone, and demolition debris to and from job sites

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe vehicle operation

Maintain accurate driver logs and load documentation

Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, job site supervisors, and team members

Assist with general site work or labor duties as required

Qualifications:

Must be at least 22 years old

Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience, preferably with dump trucks

Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B license

Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screen

Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in various weather conditions
