Job Description

The Qutekcak Native Tribe is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Receptionist to support front desk operations and provide administrative assistance in a welcoming tribal office environment. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training.

Essential Duties

Greet and assist visitors and tribal members

Answer and direct phone calls

Sort and route mail and deliveries

Maintain clean and organized reception area

Assist with filing, copying, scanning, and clerical tasks

Support administrative staff as needed

Maintain confidentiality and cultural respect at all times

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (or actively working toward completion)

Basic computer and office skills (typing, email, printing)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Dependable, organized, and able to multitask

Willingness to learn and take direction

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Customer service or office experience

Familiarity with Alaska Native or tribal community environments

Work Setting

On-site, front desk position at the Qutekcak Tribal Office

Reports directly to the Tribal Administrator
