We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Billing and Posting Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our clients' billing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Management: Process and prepare invoices and billing statements for clients accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with established billing standards and regulations.

Payment Posting: Record all patient payments and insurance reimbursements accurately into the accounting system. Reconcile discrepancies and ensure correct account balances.

Data Verification: Review and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy. Ensure that all necessary documentation is gathered and complete before invoicing.

Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling any discrepancies or issues with accounts. Work with clients and insurance companies to resolve billing errors or disputes.

Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth billing operations. Address any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to billing activities, such as aging reports, payment trends, and discrepancies. Use this data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Compliance: Stay up to date with the latest regulations and guidelines in medical billing to ensure all practices are compliant with industry standards.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to support the overall billing operations and contribute to workflow improvements.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in medical billing or a similar financial role is preferred. Familiarity with insurance billing procedures and regulations is an advantage.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in medical billing or healthcare administration is a plus.

Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of medical billing software is desirable.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify billing discrepancies and work towards effective resolutions.

Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
