Routine Maintenance and Repairs:

Performing regular checks and maintenance on hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

Guest Requests and Issues:

Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently.

Emergency Repairs:

Handling urgent maintenance needs like leaks, power outages, or structural damage.

Safety Inspections:

Conducting safety inspections of facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Preventive Maintenance:

Implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs.

Collaboration:

Working with other team members and potentially contractors for specialized repairs.

Inventory Management:

Ensuring proper maintenance of tools, supplies, and equipment.

Grounds Maintenance:

Maintaining the exterior of the property, including landscaping and snow removal in applicable regions.

Other Tasks:

May include tasks like painting, cleaning, and assisting in other areas of the hotel as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

Physical Stamina: In some cases, the role requires physical tasks like lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring thoroughness in inspections and repairs.

Customer Service: Interacting with guests and providing excellent service.

Basic Computer Skills: For record-keeping and communication.

Hourly:

$12-14 per hour
