The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to perform various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of concrete mixtures, ensuring proper ratios and consistency.

Pour, spread, and finish concrete using various tools and techniques.

Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required on construction sites.

Operate heavy equipment safely, including mixers and other machinery necessary for concrete work.

Collaborate with carpenters on tasks such as trim carpentry and metal stud framing to ensure accurate installations.

Support masonry work as needed, including setting forms and reinforcing structures.

Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Help renovate existing structures by removing old concrete and preparing surfaces for new installations.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of heavy equipment is essential.

Familiarity with flooring installation processes is a plus.

Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise is beneficial.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

A commitment to adhering to safety standards on the job site is crucial.
