JOB SUMMARY

Supervision of all catering events on campus. Manages FOH setup and service at all catering.

Supervision of all retail outlets to include staffing, inventory and ordering.

Involvement with campus social media to promote retail outlets.

Maintains high levels of sanitation in all campus retail operations.

Responds to sales and customer count changes and adjusts staffing levels as needed.

Assists with recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of campus retail and catering staff.

Assists with weekly inventory of all food and supplies. Must be completed by Friday at 4:00pm.

Works closely with the hourly retail leads on food and supplies that need to be ordered.

Maintains cash controls and follows the PCC cash handling policies.

Conducts regular meetings with the employees to discuss special offering and new menu items on a weekly basis.

Takes a hands-on approach and works alongside the catering and retail staff. Assists with prep work as needed.

Monitors quality of food that is served.

Reviews labor hours with the FSD. Takes corrective action to meet budgeted labor targets.

Attends weekly management team meeting to discuss management coverage, upcoming events, service and quality issues, customer comments, and other operational details.

Responsible for all other duties and tasks assigned by the Food Service Director, District Manager or the Pioneer Leadership Team.

Must be detail orientated and comfortable delegating tasks to service staff.

Must be comfortable connecting and interacting with students, faculty/staff, clients, and community guests.

Willing to work in fast paced environment.

Capable of seeing and solving problems and service issues with minimal direction.

Seeking career minded individual with willingness to grow with PCC and relocate.

Basic understanding of computers and use of Microsoft Office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in extreme conditions of hot and cold (coolers or freezers and hot equipment).

Must be able to work on your feet for entire length of shift.

Must be able to work on potential hazardous surfaces (wet floors).

Must be able to work around hazardous chemicals.

Must be able to direct staff by giving directions and following up.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
