Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction workers, skilled trades, and labor crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work instructions, and provide direction to field personnel regarding installation methods, work sequencing, materials, tools, and equipment requirements. Monitor construction progress and inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with approved plans, safety requirements, and applicable construction standards, and report deficiencies or field issues to project management for resolution. Coordinate construction activities among various trades, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers to maintain workflow, address site issues, and support project schedules, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization. Promote and enforce job site safety by conducting routine safety inspections, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and reporting hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions. Evaluate worker performance, provide guidance and on-the-job training, and ensure personnel perform assigned tasks accurately, productively, and in accordance with established procedures. Prepare and maintain daily reports, including work progress, labor hours, equipment usage, material consumption, and site conditions, and communicate project status updates to management. Monitor the use and maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and materials, and report shortages, malfunctions, or delays that may impact project completion.

Work to be performed on DPRI-funded

projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/orExecutiveOrder14206

will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply.
