QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be bilingual due to the clientele. (Spanish)

Must have a year of experience.

Must have MA Certification.

$2500 Sign On bonus for new employees.

DUTIES:

Patient Preparation:

Medical assistants prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate), recording medical histories, and explaining procedures.

Assisting with Examinations:

They assist physicians during examinations by setting up equipment, handing instruments, and providing support to patients.

Procedures:

MAs may perform tasks like drawing blood, administering injections (under supervision), performing EKGs, and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.

Medication Administration:

In some cases, they may administer medications as directed by a physician or nurse.

Wound Care:

They may assist with wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.

Sterilization and Maintenance:

MAs are responsible for sterilizing medical instruments and maintaining a clean and organized exam room.

Clerical Duties

Work Week Details:

Weekdays and Weekends.

Background requirements:

Candidates must pass background and reference check. (Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.)
