Description

**BACKGROUND CHECKS: Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission is a drug-free employer. Drug testing of both current staff and new hires will be conducted. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Driver's Record Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Test, and Employment References.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

      Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of OHCAC operations.

     Gain and apply in-depth knowledge of HEAP and PIPP Plus programs, including eligibility and enrollment requirements.

      Consistently meet or exceed established productivity and performance standards.

      Process applications received through the Ohio Development Services Agency Queue.

      Review and process online applications submitted via Salesforce.

      Contact applicants as needed to obtain missing information or documentation.

   Assist applicants with registration and income verification, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

      Stay current with all policies, procedures, and system updates (including Salesforce).

      Respond to incoming calls, provide assistance, and answer program-related questions.

   Maintain accurate and complete documentation in client files within required timeframes.

   Operate office equipment (scanners, copiers, computers, etc.) as needed.

   Record intake data accurately, maintain confidential client files, and organize program records.

   Attend required trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

   Follow up on case file corrections in a timely manner.

   Conduct interviews to verify income and complete necessary forms.

   Determine program eligibility and explain program guidelines to applicants.

   Carry out additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

   Maintain confidentiality at all times.

   Assist with Electric Partnership Program (EPP) verification of applications as needed.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Participate in optional workshops and trainings for personal and professional development.

Demonstrate initiative by proactively following up on incomplete applications.

Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
