Job Title: Controller

Position Summary:

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of NXG Truck Beds, ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting, effective cost control, and sound financial management to support the companys growth objectives. This role will manage accounting staff, oversee financial processes, and work closely with executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and financial regulations.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Support leadership with financial analysis to guide decision-making and operational improvements.

Supervise and develop accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate financial processes.

Assist with cost accounting initiatives and inventory management systems to improve operational visibility.

Participate in audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities (manufacturing environment preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.

Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations and leadership.

Ability to work on-site in Mount Pleasant, TX.

Pay: $80,735.38 - $92,046.91 per year
