We are seeking a fun outgoing, detail-oriented Medical Billing Manager to join our small medical office team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Medical Billing, insurance verification, prior authorization request, medical scheduling systems and possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a small private Family-like healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Billing of medical claims (must have experience!)

-Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel

-Knowledgeable on billing insurance and pre-authorization

Follow through on claim status, follow up on denials

Schedule patient appointments using medical scheduling software

Verify patient insurance information and prior authorization and deductibles

Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in medical billing and collections

Experience:

-Experience in Medical office environments

Familiarity with phone systems and scheduling

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
