Responsibilities:

School Leadership

Support a positive, structured, whole-child oriented school culture

Ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently

Use data to inform student centered decisions regarding academics and behavior

Model professional behavior

Partner with the Principal in leading building committees and teams

Teacher Development

Analyze data with teachers to determine how to best meet students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs

Manage teachers' duties and schedules to support the flow of the building to run smoothly

Participate in the APPR process with teachers and the evaluation process with all staff

Provide professional development for teachers

Parent and Family Engagement

Be visible in the community and at events within the district

Build relationships with students and families

Provide clear communication to parents in a timely manner with an invitation for 2-way communication

Respond to parent concerns promptly and effectively with care, concern, and follow through

Work with staff to support positive family interactions between the school and home

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: NYS Administrator's Certification. Prior administrative experience preferred
