The Noble County Prosecutor's Office is seeking a full-time legal clerk. While duties can vary slightly, a typical job description includes handling basic clerical tasks, managing legal documents, case files, calendars, and communicating with outside agencies and the public (i.e. law enforcement, attorneys, plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, victims, etc.). The position requires strong organization skills and attention to detail.

**[Job Duties]{.underline}:

**- Assessing and updating information in case management systems

Drafting and editing documents

Answering telephone calls

Maintaining office calendar

Case file management

Communication and coordination with other agencies, clerk's offices, court personnel, and the public

Retrieving and Sending Mail

This position requires high levels of confidentiality

**[Qualifications]{.underline}:

**- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures

Computer proficiency and strong typing skills

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Attention to detail and accurately enter data into case management systems

High school education or equivalent required

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Pay: Salary will be determined based upon education and experience.
