Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit

Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient service

Assist with drink and food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen

Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales

Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques

Clear tables promptly, bus tables efficiently, and ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations

Support team members with basic math calculations for bills, tips, and inventory counts to ensure accuracy in all transactions

Assist in maintaining a well-stocked front-of-house area by replenishing supplies and ensuring cleanliness standards are met

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are most important!

Familiarity with quick service and fast food restaurant operations enhances your ability to thrive in our energetic setting

Knowledge of POS systems; training will be provided

Experience with food preparation, bussing tables, or cashiering in a caf or retail grocery store is beneficial

Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service

Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing are essential

A background in the food industry or restaurant experience helps you understand food safety standards and sanitation procedures
