Job Description: Mitchell's Furniture Store in Alpine, TX is looking for a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, youll help customers find stylish, functional furniture and home dcor items while providing top-notch service.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for home furnishings, and a genuine interest in helping customers create beautiful spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection

Listen to customer needs and offer tailored furniture recommendations

Provide detailed product knowledge and explain features, materials, and pricing

Maintain a clean and organized showroom with appealing displays

Process purchases and returns using our POS system accurately

Assist with inventory checks and restocking as needed

Stay informed about store promotions, sales, and policies

Help achieve store sales goals and deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Basic computer and cash register experience is a plus
