Our team of Construction Technicians work within the Mills Property Home Services department to complete a variety of projects for residential home owners, as well as, commercial businesses. They specialize in construction and remodel projects. No two days are the same with new tasks and challenges presented daily and, as a result, the opportunity to learn and grow in many areas.

To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills with a background in construction, maintenance, carpentry or finishing work.

Job Details

As a Construction Technician you will be responsible to complete a variety of construction and repair projects as a member of the Home Services Team.

Construction Technician performs construction, carpentry, and maintenance duties as directed from the Home Services Foreman. This person will also be a front-line representative of the company while performing construction, carpentry and maintenance work from work order requests or as directed from the Home Services Foreman. Construction Technician must have adequate verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities(may include but are not limited to):

Responding to work order project requests

Remodeling, Repairing, and building in residential and commercial setting

Operating and maintaining company vehicle and equipment

Greeting and communicating with the public professionally

Construction Technician will complete and follow-up on a wide variety of tasks and items as may be assigned/or necessary to fulfill job duties and will work cooperatively and comply with all company standards, policy and procedures, and will be conducted professionally, consistently and safely.

Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of Construction, Maintenance, Carpentry or Finishing experience required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders.
