Hiring CNC Machinist/Boring Mill Operator

This position requires a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to think ahead and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality while keeping the best interest of the customer in mind. Must demonstrate safe practices and the ability to communicate with management and fellow employees. A qualified applicant will be expected to work overtime and weekends as needed. Candidate must have minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC mills. Successful applicants must demonstrate accountability, determination, respect and have a good attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

Be at work every day on time

Experience with FANUC controls

Ability to read G-code

Ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure you have the proper tooling, programs, and materials prior to starting a job

Set up parts on mill, set tools, run prewritten programs

Math skills, including geometry and algebra

Complete work in the allotted time

Deburr, verify, and inspect your work

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a tidy work area

Knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring heads and machine inserts

Precision measuring tools and gauges will be needed to perform certain tasks and verification, such as: calipers, micrometers dial indicators ect

Experience with Milltronics controls is a plus.

$21-$25 starting pay, depending on experience. Opportunity for advancement and benefits available.
