has an opening for an Accounting Lead position in Houston, TX. Duties Include:

Monitor daily accounting operations and bookkeeping by following accounting best practices.

Ensure timely and accurate transfer of account data to General Ledger.

Analyze and review accounting transactions to prepare for month-end and year-end closing.

Assist in individual account reconciliation, analysis, and coding.

Prepare and post journal entries for single and intercompany financial structure.

Review, analyze, and approve fixed assets for integration and depreciation.

Review and explain account trend analysis.

Assist with audits, fact checks, projections, and resolving financial discrepancies.

Prepare and review weekly bank reconciliations.

Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Employer will accept a minimum of bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or a related field and 36 months of experience as an accountant, accounting analyst, or related. Experience should include:

36 months of experience with accounting software such as GP Dynamics, MS Business Central, or SAP.

36 months of experience with payroll and account reconciliation.

36 months of experience with payroll processes related to employee bonuses, benefits, and vacation days.

36 months of experience dealing with Latin American vendors, suppliers, and banks.

12 months of experience with asset and depreciations analysis.
