Shop Worker -- Metaltech Steel

This position supports daily shop operations including material handling, processing, and general production tasks. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Key Responsibilities

[Operate shop equipment such as saws, shears, forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment (training provided as needed)]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Load, unload, and move steel materials safely and efficiently]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Measure, inspect, and prepare material according to job specifications]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Follow all safety procedures and company policies]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Assist with general shop duties as assigned]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Qualifications

[Previous experience in a steel service center, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred (but not required)]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Basic mechanical aptitude]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Forklift and/or overhead crane experience a plus]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
