MEMCO SER is immediately hiring experienced COMMERCIAL DOOR and HARDWARE INSTALLERS to work at commercial jobsites throughout the Greater Houston Area!

Location: Greater Houston Area Pay: $18hr+, depending on experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience installing commercial doors, frames, and architectural door hardware, along with general carpentry skills. Candidates should be comfortable working from plans, specifications, and jobsite instructions and performing accurate, quality installations. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in commercial door and hardware installation. Qualified temporary employees may have the opportunity to be hired directly by the client.

Responsibilities: Install commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware. Install hinges, locks, exit devices, door closers, panic hardware, thresholds, weatherstripping, pulls, and related hardware. Perform door and frame preparation as required for hardware installation. Measure, align, level, and adjust doors and hardware for proper operation. Read and follow construction plans, hardware schedules, specifications, and installation instructions. Perform general carpentry and jobsite-related tasks as needed. Troubleshoot and correct installation issues. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Travel between commercial jobsites throughout the Greater Houston Area. Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.

Qualifications: Previous experience installing commercial doors and/or architectural door hardware required. General carpentry experience preferred. Ability to read basic construction drawings, plans, and hardware schedules preferred. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Must have your own basic tools for commercial door and hardware installation. Must have a reliable personal vehicle for transportation between jobsites. Must be able to pass a background check. Ability to lift, carry, and install doors and hardware as required. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Must be willing to work at different commercial jobsites throughout the Greater Houston Area.
