Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Lab Assistant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: The pathology laboratory assistant is responsible for specimen accessioning, preparation and administration assistance in the pathology lab as it relates to specimens, blocks and slides.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or HiSET

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

On-the-job training provided.

Some knowledge in human anatomy and/or medical terminology or previous healthcare experience preferred.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
