Frederick County CPA firm located in Monrovia, Maryland is seeking an experienced Accountant with a minimum ofthreeyears experience. We are a growing firm and offer great work-life balance.

This position requires strong technical ability and attention to detail. Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment are a must. Proficiency in Lacerte tax software and QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review a variety of Individual 1040 tax returns and Business tax returns (S Corp, C Corp, Partnership, or Sole Proprietorship) in compliance with laws and regulations

Bookkeeping in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

Perform various administrative tasks

Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum of three years of public accounting experience

EA/CPA or active pursuit of CPA license is a plus

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including experience with individual, partnership, and corporate taxation

Ability to work independently and in teams

Strong analytical, communication, and research skills

Detail oriented

Self-Motivated

Creative problem solving and research skills

Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
