McCarthy Building is hiring Journeymen Electricians to help with the construction of a utility scale solar facility located in Moro, AR. McCarthy is looking for team members that have a proven commitment to safety, are accustomed to working outdoors, and can be committed to a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Terminate combiner boxes

Panel/LV work

Install metering equipment

Layout, bend, thread and install conduit

Layout and install switchgear, switchboards and electrical devices

Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway

Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire

Connect and support DC wire

Install electrical enclosures

Supervise the work of apprentices

Unload and stage material

Perform electrical testing and commissioning

Qualifications

Electrical Journeyman License Required

Minimum 4 years experience

Solar experience preferred

General knowledge of construction principles/processes required

Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used

on construction projects

Must have a tape measure, level, and side cutting pliers (Linemans)

Proven commitment to safety and teamwork

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities

according to work schedule

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and

consistency

Age 18+
