Masthope Mountain Community is looking for a full-time Activities Director. As the Activities Director you will supervise operations of community scheduled events and activities by overseeing responsibilities for volunteers, and staff members, as well as planning, organizing, ensuring a safe environment, and handling related administrative tasks, by coordinating with management to ensure events and activities run smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Developing activity and events schedules

Developing and Implenmenting kid's summer programs

Securing necessary supplies and equipment needed while tracking and managing expenses to ensure budget compliance

Supervising activity sessions and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment

Promote activites by designming flyers and advertising

Address participant needs and resolve conflicts that may arise

Keep records of participant attendance, activity schedules, and other relevant information

Communicate with parents, staff, children, and other relevant parties

Maintain a safe environment by ensuring adherence to safety rules and regulations and managing potential hazards

Perform other related duties

Education/Training Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

2-4 years related experience and/or training

Or 2-4 years equivalent combination of education and experience

PA Child Abuse History Clearance

PA State Police Criminal Background Check

FBI Criminal Background check

The work environment is a mix between an outdoor setting and an indoor setting usually with moderate to loud noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
