NY1550444 Warehouse Team Member Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description: Production Warehouse Team Member Successful and growing global importer and food manufacturer headquartered Utica, NY is seeking a full-time Production/Shipping & Receiving Personnel. This position is for 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will also have experience operating a forklift and moving bulk products using pumps and hoses. Top candidates will be enthusiastic, dependable, and have strong organizational skills.

Typical Duties (including but not limited to):

Loading/Unloading tankers and railcars of bulk edible oil

Maintaining accurate shipping & receiving logs

Assisting in physical inventory counts

Loading/Unloading trucks with a forklift

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and complying with all good manufacturing practices

Ensuring all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements are followed

Assisting with preventative maintenance of warehouse facility and equipment

Maintaining security of the warehouse and shipping docks

Some heavy lifting is required

Preferred experience and skills include:

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in warehouse and production environment

Experience with quality control and safety programs, especially in food manufacturing

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Minimum Requirements:

Willing to work full time 40 hours per week

High school diploma or equivalent
