Reporting Directly to Controller / Accounting Manager

Materials Receiver/ Coordinator will be tasked to the administrative functions relating to Material Receiving and Purchase Order activities, and documents adhering to ITAR federal and safety regulations. Administrative activities may include document control, Inventory and material reports and related distribution demands with manufacturing staff and Magellan operational facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Distribution of supplies from purchasing stockroom and/or department

delivery

Warehouse upkeep: all material in proper place, aligned neatly &

rotated when new stock arrives. Floors to be free from all debris & swept often. This will also apply to all material outside of warehouse, (Westside location)

Monitor & maintain inventory levels inside & outside warehouse

Process all incoming orders by opening boxes, verify against

receiving paperwork & purchase order

Record in computer (receive) & print reports

Process copies of receivers & purchase orders for accounting

Maintain purchase orders & all associated paperwork until order is

received in full

Keep track of backorder items & continual follow up until order is

complete

Filing when necessary

Handle special projects

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Experience in the field of Inventory Control, Supply Management and

Material Management

Experience in Category / Material Expediting would be considered an

asset

Knowledge of purchasing policies, document control and ensure ITAR

compliance.

Maintain close coordination with all internal departments to develop

and manage forecasts and minimize inventory levels.

Valid drivers license with Ability to lift up 50 lbs. or more

Must have good attendance record

Forklift experience or certifiable

Computer experience: Electronic receiving experience, basic Excel

knowledge, ability to navigate the internet for ordering purposes

Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, knowledge essential
