**VPI Technology (VPI), a division of Ludlum Measurements, Inc.,
seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Director to join our
finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of
accounting experience, with hands-on involvement in ERP
implementation and support. This role involves assisting with the
integration and optimization of Kinetic ERP systems as well as
overseeing and handling daily general accounting tasks to ensure
accurate financial reporting and compliance. This full-time,
permanent position will be expected to work onsite and report
directly to the Divisional Controller at our Draper, UT office.**

Education and Experience

** Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related
field**

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

CPA or equivalent experience preferred

** Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for U.S. Security
Clearance**



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven experience with Kinetic ERP (Epicor) or a
similar advanced ERP system, especially in implementation or system
upgrades preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office
applications

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a
cross-functional team

CPA or progress toward CPA certification a plus

Strong background in manufacturing a plus

Ability to advise or assist division management on matters
of accounting and financial management and to act as liaison with our
corporate finance team

Knowledge of government accounting practices and cost
accounting standards (CAS) in order to manage federal contract
offices, DCAA, DCMA, ICE, and other federal relationships is a plus.

Knowledge of accrual accounting and revenue recognition

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization



**Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilit
ies**

Experience using SQL and ability to form SQL expressions to
extract data from company systems

Previous experience with services project accounting

Familiarity with banking relationships and requirements

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+	JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the implementation, testing, and support of
the Kinetic ERP system

Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize
accounting processes within Kinetic ERP

Assist VP of Finance in the overall financial strategy,
management, and reporting of the organization

Assist VP of Finance in financial planning, budgeting, cash
flow management, and compliance

Oversee AP & AR team and ensure accurate and timely
financial reporting

Perform daily accounting functions, including accounts
receivable, general ledger entries, payroll, and bank transactions

Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
processes

Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts,
and ensure the accuracy of financial data

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary
documentation and reports
