Schedule:** Monday -- Friday, with weekend availability

Pay rate:** Beginning rate for this position is $18 - $22 per hour

Job Description:**

The Aquatic Director is responsible for the development and implementation of safe, quality programs for members and guests

This includes coordination and supervision of swimming lessons, lifeguard/open swimming, specialty aquatics programs and CPR/First-Aid/Lifeguard training

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent

Three or more years of experience in an aquatic program

Ability to train swim and water fitness instructors

Excellent communication and public relations skills

Computer proficient

Requires trainer-level certification in YMCA Swim Lessons within 90 days of employment

First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications required

Current ARC or YMCA Lifeguard certification required
