Description

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary:

Performs all aspects of maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment, building equipment, office equipment, building and grounds to ensure quality and efficiencies for the organization are met.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

Provides preventive maintenance to maintain efficient equipment operation. Assists in the maintenance and repairs of production equipment.

Provides general building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, ground maintenance, general building maintenance, and painting.

Keeps maintenance log as required.

Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed.

Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken offline for maintenance.

Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations.

Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair.

Is trained and works in compliance with all plant and departmental standard operating procedures and safety procedures.

Maintains plant safety systems so that they are operational.

May assist in maintenance duties at other LHB locations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Knowledge of electronics, electrical services, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC required.

Strong knowledge of general mechanics and machine operations.

Knowledge of aerosols and liquid filling preferred.

Knowledge of high voltage services required.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Education and Experience:

Technical School Graduate (Maintenance Management or equivalent

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing equipment/building repairs and line set-up.

Experience with aerosol production a plus.

Process logic controls/electronic expertise a plus.

Project management experience a plus.

None
