MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures competent quality execution of day-to-day purchasing duties and administrative work

Purchases materials from approved vendors used in the airport based on specifications from end users

Issues purchase orders based on internal customer requests and inventory PAR levels via ERP software

Processes returns, replacements, and credit arrangements

Monitors approved vendor pricing and availability; expedites orders as needed

Receives materials and notifies departments of arrival

Performs inventory put-away and maintains airport inventory levels

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

1+ years' experience in a purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or parts counter role

1+ years' experience with ERP, inventory, or catalogue software

Ability to plan and organize work, establishing priorities to carry tasks through to timely completion

Capable to work independently and perform work with limited direct supervision

Well organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task

Work effectively both independently and in a team environment in a positive and professional manner

Proficient Microsoft Office skills -- Outlook, Word, Excel

Valid Driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

Read, write, and speak English

Occasionally exposed to loud noises, temperature changes, heat, and humidity

Must be able to bend, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted

The employee is required to sit for long periods of time and use hands and fingers

Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, driving
