[The Lakewood City School District Board of Education]{.underline} is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Treasurer for the 2025-2026 school year. This position performs duties that support the effective operation of the Treasurer's Department and assists in ensuring sound fiscal management of the District. The Assistant Treasurer addresses financial and operational issues that arise during the absence of the Treasurer, within the limits prescribed by law, and reports directly to the Treasurer and/or designee.

[Qualifications]{.underline}: Valid Ohio Department of Education Treasurer's License (required); Bachelor's degree (required) in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred); Prior experience in school finance or public sector accounting (preferred); Strong knowledge of Ohio school finance laws and regulations; Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality;

Ability to effectively utilize financial management systems, reporting software, and related technology to support accurate accounting, budgeting, and compliance;

Ability to provide direction, oversight, and professional support to departmental staff in alignment with district goals and policies.
